Purpose:

 In setting the purpose of the Trust the Trustees declare that they will advocate for policy determination and management decisions with regard to any events in Raglan exclusively for charitable purposes which relate to the public recreation, enjoyment, instruction, culture  or benefit the Raglan Community, taking into account the natural environment and historical values and activities of the area.

Charitable Purposes:  

Development of cultural awareness,  consulting with tangata whenua about the management of the events (where appropriate).

To liaise with and involve all interested parties including the community, local government, government agencies, business organizations to achieve a co-operative approach in order to enable the success of any charitable event.

To support charitable events in Raglan and to take such steps as are necessary to achieve the promotion of the event.

Encourage family & community participation.

To raise funds exclusively for charitable purposes.

To foster public membership of the Trust to further the aims of the Trust.

Provide other support and assistance.
